The John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center recently announced that its burn center will be named the Michael D. Hendrix Burn Research Center in honor of one of the victims of the crash of Atlantic Southeast Airlines Flight 7529. AGF represented Mr. Hendrix's family in the airplane crash case, and has worked closely with Linda Agar-Hendrix in establishing the burn center.
"A primary focus of the center will be finding ways to treat Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome, a currently untreatable condition that causes the respiratory system to fail. It also is the principle cause of death in burn victims," says Andrew Munster, M.D., director of the Baltimore Regional Burn Center.
Keith Franz and the other attorneys at AGF are dedicated to the work of the center, and continue to support burn victims and their families through their legal counsel and their ties with John Hopkins.
If you have questions about the work of the Michael D. Hendrix Burn Research Center or other questions about burn-related injuries, please contact Keith Franz.
